These are not the same part as a real Samsung ML-D1630A cartridge. They look identical, but will not work in a Samsung SCX-4500 printer. Both cartridges I received would not do anything but give my printer an error code. I ordered a Samsung ML-D1630A cartridge, at higher cost, of course, and it worked fine.
Received the packages in very timely, and good air-bubled packs. Looked real pro. Pop it in and worked just fine. This is great!
It worked great for about a ream (500 sheets) of paper, then I started to get horizontal grey and black striping. I removed the toner, shook it a little and replaced it. It worked fine for a few more times. Then it started spitting out pages that were almost all black. I replaced it with the second cartridge and everything is printing fine again. Print quality is great.I contacted the seller (TonerPals) and they sent me a replacement. It takes me about 6 months to go through 4 reams so we’ll see how long this lasts. If it really does go for 2000 pages, then it is definitely a good buy as the manufacturer’s toner is much more expensive.

I received defective cartridges. I put the first cartridge in, did a test print, and it printed a completely black page. Removed cartridge, the entire interior of my printer is covered with toner that spilled out of this obviously defective cartridge. It was a great price, but I’ll stick with the originals after this harrowing experience. My printer is now basically ruined, at least needs a thorough cleaning, and of course, I have things that need to be printed today.
I print a lot and this was the perfect choice for me. Awesome performance for an awesome price. Prices in local stores were outrages.
The price of this item is just short of amazing. Delivery was prompt and so far the performance has been excellent.I was very happy to purchase the fast, quiet, compact, and stylish Samsung ML-1630 laser printer last year for under $110. Now that I purchased my first (2) replacement toner cartridges I’m ecstatic I made the original decision to get the printer. I don’t know why anyone would not have one of those little beauties for their regular printing needs. It tickles me to think I paid less than $50 for approximately 4000 additional printed pages.We have a color ink-jet beside the Samsung that is used almost strictly for color items. We seldom have to buy those ridiculously priced poor yield liquid ink cartridges.Thanks Samsung… and THANK YOU AMAZON.COM.
